Enzo Bettio has had a long association with New Zealand’s food and wine world. Firstly, as the owner of Delmaine Fine Foods, which he sold after 25 years, in order to plant vineyards in Clevedon and establish a Winery, Vin Alto, producing mainly Italian grape varieties. This enabled Enzo to have a hands-on approach to the enjoyment of grape growing and wine making.

After a short-lived retirement, Enzo found that he missed the vibrancy and excitement of the wine industry, so he and long-time friend and customer, Nathan Pene, got together to form
Bon Vino, a specialised wine company that sells direct to our customers.

Nathan is also a wine enthusiast with in depth wine knowledge and a discerning palate, not to mention that he’s a keen imbiber. He has an advertising agency and brings to Bon Vino excellent communication and organisational skills. Nathan appreciates wine and delights in introducing people to new wines that he has tried and enjoyed.

Together, the partnership of Enzo and Nathan will bring to you curated red and white wines from both New Zealand and around the world for you to discover.
