“Recioto,” refers to a dessert wine made from grapes that were dried on racks after picking. This process dries the grapes and so they are closer to raisins, concentrating the flavours.

This dessert wine is lovely, rich and sweet and can be served with either dessert or cheese and biscuits.

Absolutely amazing for the price. This is ansteal

Around 20 years old but does not have a vintage. Reason I know is I bought some years ago with the 2005 Vin Santo. Both of these are amazing wines. Took my last bottles to a friends 10 years or so ago and he didnt drink them. 2 weeks ago decided to try them and what a surprise. So thought if there just happened to be any more!! Found them here. They both have reserved sweetness. What I mean is that they are not in your face sweet and still have plenty of life in them and will continue to develop.
